KJ Peter & Associates was founded in 1979. We have offices in Chennai and Kerala offering a variety of design services such as architectural design, interior design, product design and graphic design. Our range of expertise includes custom homes, residential remodeling, office buildings, resorts & hotels, hospitals, retail outlets, schools, colleges, religious institutions, retirement homes and many more. We offer our clients personal attention at every stage of planning and construction as this is crucial to a project’s success, as does our team of experienced consultants. All phases of architectural services are carefully supervised and scheduled. To this end, we strive to provide the highest quality and comprehensive architectural design services.
KJ Peter and Associates was founded by and is mentored by Architect KJ Peter. A graduate of The School of Architecture and Planning, Anna University, Chennai who passed out in 1974, with a post graduate diploma in Industrial Design and Graphic design from IIT Bombay which he finished in 1977. From 1974 to 1975 he has worked with the PWD, Chennai and has also had a few years of experience in Nigeria. His experience and expertise over the last three decades has won him many accolades. He has worked on a variety of building projects nationally and done a few churches internationally. He is one of the very few architects in the country who has designed innumerable churches. He is a member of the Council of Architecture and The Indian Institute of Architects. Architect Deepa Sam who is a graduate of the TVB school of Habitat studies, New Delhi (2003) and has specialized in Product design in her post graduate degree from IIT Bombay (2005) is a working partner in the firm. She is a member of the Council of Architecture and The Indian Institute of Architects.
Ideas tend to be more free, feasible and innovative when architects, structural and environmental engineers work together creatively from the beginning of a project. The expertise of different people can be combined and learning happens across the table, to devise sustainable, fully integrated design solutions.
